Thank you for visiting our website and learning more about our 2009 cross-country journey with our baby daughter, Sofia. Sometimes life gives you lemons and the best option is always to make lemonade! In other words, make the best of the situation that you have been given. For us, we both got laid off in January of 2009 and then, a month later, became new parents to a beautiful baby girl. After a series of failed job interviews, we decided to make it a family-focused summer. The crossroads in our lives led us to the decision of fulfilling Roberto's life-long dream to visit all 30 MLB ballparks, while conducting a national job search, seeing almost every state (38) in our beautiful country and bonding with our new baby girl. We drove 15,171 miles during our journey and our record of wins and loses broke even at 15/15. Along the way we collected baseball items from each MLB team and auctioned them off for charity raising over $2,500 to benefit the Women’s Sport Foundation, which encourages girls to participate in sports.

Since the ballpark tour Roberto has returned to Georgetown University to seek a Master’s degree in Sports Industry Management and Judy is a communications and public relations consultant.
